Self taught San Francisco artist Hugh Leeman has art on walls around the world, with portraits of marginalized inner-city residents who are reinvented in heroic roles. With his art, Leeman asks the public to engage in the subjects such as homelessness and poverty on a deeper level, “to force the forgotten into the conversation.”
